Ive been fortunate enough to be to meet and know a lot of creative people in my life.

From Actors, Models, Socialites, Artists, Musicians and Talent Agents. In retrospect, I know a great deal of people. And from those souls whom I have been so lucky to encounter in my life, Ive managed to learn a few pearls of wisdom.

And thats why this whole journal thing is a little frustrating for me. Here, in my journal, I am free to write anything and everything I get the urge to write about. The thing thats really biting at my ass about my journal is, well, is that I cant write anything I want.

I cant post any real poetry that I have created, I certainly cant post any stories that I may have invented and whats annoying me the most, is that I cant write anything, not even my progress in writing my still untitled book.

You see the problem is that the VR is public domain and my head and my computer are private. I would love to tell everyone about what my book is about, its storyline and its main characters. But I cant.

Anyone can steal an idea and at this moment my book is unpublished and yet my idea once I have finally settled on a title will be copyright.

I want to share the book with everyone, I want to tell the world, I'd love bounce ideas off many of you. But I cant for at this moment my book is unsolicited.

And if Ive learnt anything in life from all of my fabulous friends and acquaintances, Its that my book should stay that way until the copyright is complete and publishing has begun.

Wishing you the best of luck with your book. Remember that no matter what happens the most important critic in the world is yourself. If you are happy with it, then it will be awesome. And that is my personal opinion.

I took a creative writing class once and was told to hold a copyright all you have to do is date and sign whichever it is you wish to copyright and then mail it to yourself. Once you get it in the mail DO NOT open it and just keep it in a safe space :)

That way if you ever come across your work somewhere you have the proof to claim your work has been taken.

I usually do this with a lot of my work... just incase it ever does get to the point where I want to actively pursue publishing :)
